Hi,
When there issue in EWM delivery EWM or ECC we need often clean the transmission and resend it as we have field that will make the transmission fail. Catch weight amount, batch, quantity, tolerance ... Thoses issues in the transmission result often in queue error inbound/ outbound or good movement that will have an impact on the system inventory balance that showed in stock check transaction in EWM. In order to resolve those we often need SAP support.
Is there way the program below will have the possibility to clean the previous transmission and update based on the last version of the delivery inbound or outbound with the corrected information so we don't have to do inventory adjustment to correct queue and we can just reject and reissue delivery correctly?
This is the program that I was thinking could do that reset but the PPF doesn't do correction of the information (catch weight, batch, qty... ) the previous transmission information : /SCWM/R_MESSAGELOG_RESET
Let me know if there a tool coming or potential idea that could eventually help us correct/retract and reprocess delivery transmission.
Thank
David C.

Hi David,
usually if you changed something this information should be distributed again.
But yes, in general it should be possible with /SCWM/R_MESSAGELOG_RESET, you can create new message there. If you have some issues you can do cancel picking and pick again, and EWM should send update to ERP, or at least with GI Posting you should get updated version.

Daniil

Yes that was my expectation as it work well for basic case as example qty, the issue is when we update Batch and catch weight amount those new value seems to not be reflected in the new transmission even with msg reset. For any of those message update we currently need to escalate to SAP to correct the message.
Thank to confirming at least it's ensuring me we were following the good path.
