Hello Team,

How to Copy one KF value on to Other based on a condition like

- Copy only current to next 2 week time buckets or

- Copy one location demand values on to all other locations.

Does Copy planning operators work here ?

Where to specify these conditions?

Hi Venkat,

It is not possible to copy data from one key figure to another with conditional basis.

- Copy only current to next 2 week time buckets: PERIOD_OFFSET, DURATION you can manage how many periods data should copy

- Copy one location demand values on to all other locations: one location demand can not copied to all locations, but you can restrict with attributes which attribute value should copy. Eg:<Attribute>_VALUEn

Hello Lingaiah,

Thanks for being active on this forum. Your inputs really helped us.

Extending to what you said above, regarding the operator parameters, i have observed the standard operators.

As per the below snapshot

Duration is maintained as 104. What does that mean. As per the timeperiods in the Key figure's planning levels, the system process this operator for 104 time buckets?

Period_offset: What does this mean

Any other constrains to maintain for the SOurce_KFID1 and Target_KFID1 ?

System is not allowing to choose the timeperiod when running the copy operators from Excel sheet, unlike it asks for Optimizer etc

Please shed some light

Thanks bro

Hi Venkat,

Duration: This is number of periods which you want to copy data. Eg 104 periods (Weeks)

Period Offset: This is offset of periods either previous or future periods, data should be copy. Eg If you maintain '0" 104 periods data will copy, If you maintain "-20" previous 20 periods data will copy, If you maintain "20" future 20 periods data will copy.

So period offset is to data copy restriction, duration is number of periods or time horizon when period offset in involved.

Constrains for source and target key figures is both key figures are in same base planning level. Source or Target one key figure should be stored.

Lingaiah
