Copy Planning View from one workbook to another

Is there a way to copy a worksheet with a planning view from one workBOOK to another workBOOK. We have templates set up that the users make favorites from that we update a planning view on and would like that they could just update their favorite with the updated template worksheet.

Hey Susan

no that is not possible, you can not copy single views from one multiple book to another

But you can copy one planning view to another one within one book, and you can copy the settings (e.g. the selection or the time or attributes etc) of the views from one view to the other within one book

I doubt that there are any plans, but I dont know.

There is not even an entry in the customer influence center yet, which is the base for new developments

The reasoning is pretty nice: Incorporate changes to a template into a planner's favorite, however it would be solved. You should argue for the business reason, not the pure technical functionality. I would vote for it if I had a vote...
