we have a scenario where we convert planned orders with explosion date in the past to production orders.
In OPL8 ‘BOM Explosion’ flag is set to ‘2’. This works fine as far as updating the BOM and Routing explosion dates with actual dates are concerned. The modified BOM is also copied to the production order but the routing stays old on operations level even though the group and group counter in the Master data tab in created production order are shown correctly.
If we double click the routing group the the production order master data tab, it shows the correct modified routing and group counter but it doesn't reflect in the new order's operations; they still show the old routing operations.
Sure we can start CO02 and then re-read the master data which refreshes the routing and works but that doesn't fit with our process.
Any ideas are highly appreciated.
