Controlling Issue Stor Location of Constituents in MRP Area

Good afternoon.

We have two MRP areas set up for our plant and several storage areas under each. We are also using PP/DS.

The problem we are having is that we cannot control the Issue Stor Location for Component A when we run the MRP for Product A. We want to set the Issue Stor Location of component A to storage location X or storage location Y or whatever we want.

Currently, even if I specify the Issue Stor Location of the manufacturing version of Product A as Storage Location X in MRP Area ①, the Issue Stor Locations of Components A, B, and C are not set to X. (X is an assumption that the Issue Stor Location is not set to the Leading storage location in the MRP Area ① setting in the PP/DS Location Master.)

Please help.

Additional request. If Product A is subcontracted, please also tell us how to control the Issue Stor Location when the component is supplied to the supplier free of charge.
