Consumption for production: No warehouse request item existing

Dear experts,

for the consumption delivery (outbound, created as copy of OPC) I get an error when I want to create a warehouse task: "There are no unpacked or packed warehouse request items for processing", also no entry exists in table /SCWM/DB_ITEM. I believe this is where SAP reads the data from.

Any idea what is missing here?

Thanks,

Gunter

Hi,

what are the other statuses in your outbound delivery order? The consumption delivery should only be relevant for GI, not for picking. So, yes, there should also be no WT.

Good day Jürgen,

I think your answer explains it. So I would need to look into the item profiles most likely. But as you said, it's only intended for GI not for picking.

So I would need to make sure the stock is in the PSA? Is that the idea of SAP? And how can that be organized (except manually transferring it)? Is that a replenishment to PSA?

Sorry for the many questions asked,

Gunter

Hello Gunter,

the outbound delivery order for the consumption should only be the last delivery for the production order (ok, except you then still have a inbound delivery for the receipt of the material). Before that you should have deliveries for the staging of pick parts and release order parts, in case of crate parts it is indeed replenishment (all assuming you have delivery based staging, but only for that you have a consumption delivery).

Maybe you should check this Integration of Production Supply (PP) in Extended Warehouse Mana - Goods Issue - SAP Library (and all the text which follows, especially the staging part)?

Hi Gunter,

Kindly check the following things :

1. Check the available stock.

Go to /n/scwm/mon -> Stock and Bin -> available stock -> (enter the product no and batch ) -> execute

Suppose you want the delivery quantity of 100 bags but the stock available is 50 bags , then you cant create warehouse task as it is partially picked . Still if you want to create task , go to /n/scwm/mon -> Documents -> warehouse tasks -> (enter product no and batch no ) -> execute . By doing this , you will see some (picking) tasks already created for different delivery. Hence you need to select the rows -> multiple selection (gear symbol ) -> cancel WT . After doing this operation , try to create your warehouse tasks .

Note : if no result comes , then it is assumed that the given product and batch no is dispatched fully (in case of searching for available stock ) or the given batch doesnt exist.

2. Check the stock type for your product no and batch no . If it is in "blocked" in both ECC and EWM , then do transfer posting of stock type . go to /n/scwm/post -> advanced search -> (enter product no and batch no and stock type(blocked/quality)  ) -> advanced search -> close advanced search  -> select the rows -> mass change -> (enter warehouse process type 4010 , quantity , destination stock type (unrestricted ) ) -> execute -> create + save

After doing this operation , check the stock type for the product no and batch no in both ECC as well as EWM side . If it is in Unrestricted , then try creating the warehouse tasks .

Note : 4010 warehouse process type helps in changing stock type both from ECC as well as EWM side .

I hope your issue gets resolved .

Best Regards
