Dear experts,
How does SAP IBP deal with concurrent / collaborative edits or saves, that is when 2 users try to edit and save the same key figure on the same planning objects during the same time?
Is the principle one of first-saved basis? Does the system generate a warning when one is working on data that already has been overwritten by a second user after loading the data?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Vincent,
Unlike other systems such as APO that deals with Live-cache Locks and Object Locks, IBP unfortunately don't have a control on the data as such. IBP accepts the last data that reached the HANA. Hence whose data reach at last wins.
Best Regards,
Riyaz

There is no warning no locking concept. Whomsoever will last press the save button that data is saved in data base.
