Client 100 has status 'not modifiable' in quality system. No issue in Production and Development

Hi Gurus,

Kindly help on the below issue. This is happening only in Quality system when trying to maintain entries via custom tcode created for maintainance view. Dont know what causing the issue.

You need to check with a colleague, who sets up the system and maintains the clients, especially on the basis side. This is dependent on the set up you have in SCC4. I would not recommend to change it unless done by a system administrator, since it defines, if you could do configuration and other changes in a particular client or not.

There are another Tcodes which allowing for maintainance. Only for this one tcode this information is coming up. Is SCC4 setting applicable for all the tcodes or specific to some.

Check settings of transaction SE06 if you are still getting this error.

in addition to he answer from Ulf Brinkmeier: in productive clients some settings - even if it's customizing - can be allowed using a "Current setting". Have a look at SAP note 135028, please, and consider to change the setting of the client in the quality system to "Productive" for getting same behaviour as in the real productive system.

Some actions need a modifiable client *or* the client must be set to productive in SCC4. In our HR system we need to adjust the client role in QAS system sometime, so that the consultants can do some kind of modification.
