We implemented changes in inbound CIF User exit EXIT_SAPLMEPI_007 (changing the order type of purch req published from APO to S4). The user exit works when we change the user type of the RFC Connection to dialog. (so SM59 at S4 system, connection to APO system, and user type of this user at APO is set to Dialog). The change of order type in the user exit doesnt work if it is not dialog.
Can you please tell me in what coding or config does this behavior get influenced? It is so strange as the RFCusers are not set to Debug in CFC2 in S4 or /SAPAPO/C4 in APO.
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
What is user type in SU01 for CIF RFC user? Is it service or dialog user?
A user of the type Service is a dialog user that is available to an anonymous, larger group of users.
Please refer SAP consulting note 1748059 - How to configure the SCM Inbound Scheduler Remote User and Logical Systems
1. Create the Remote RFC User (usually, "ALEREMOTE") in both systems (SCM and ECC); Note: it's recommended to always have the user set as "Dialog User" to facilitate troubleshooting analysis on CIF related issues.
2. In transaction /SM59 of SCM, maintain the Logical System of the ERP System as an ABAP Connection; Note: The common syntax for Logical System is <System ID>(3) + "CLNT" + <Client Number>(3),
