CIF of Phantom BOM which also has a Production version

Hi All,

My client uses Phantom BOM's which is also produced sometimes and hence has a Production version (BOM +Routing).

I am aware that this is not recommended by SAP.

The issue is that my phantom BOM PDS changes are no longer transferred to APO via CIF because there is a Production Version existing.

Material BOM in Integration Model

If you set this indicator, all bills of material that correspond to the
stated selection options are indcluded in your model.

Dependencies

The material BOM filter object can only be used in connection with the
production data structure (iPPE) and it is used to map phantom assemblies.

Only those bills of material are transferred for materials for which no
production production versions have been created.

I was wondering if anyone else had a similar requirement and how they resovled it.

My idea is to use a CIF enhancement during CIF of the BOM PDS and make the system think that there is no production version.

Any other ideas.

Note: the Phantom should not have any Production Versions maintained. For more information, refer to note 1556411.

Please implement BAdI CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN-PDS_IMO_SELECTION refer code from note 1556411

This will allow the selection of production versions without task list assignment within CFM1
