Dear Community,
have someone knowledge regarding the CI-DS Datastore configuration with a Load Balancer to a SAP ERP on Prem. System?
In the IBP Wiki and in the CI-DS Help, there is no information available.
Current Load Balance Details:
Load balance
Load balance: yes
MS host: Message Server IP address
MS port: 00
Server group: public
System ID: our SID
Credentials
Application server*: app.server IP address
Authentication: password
User name*: RFC User name
Password: the password
Is there any other important fields, that I must fill out, that the load balancer works?
or knows someone a website that I found more/ detail information?
And why is a Application Server needed, if I use a Load Balancer? - Makes for me no sense.
Thanks a lot
Best regards
Armin

Hi,
This KBA below tells you where to find the message server details:
https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2978362
With dummy/incorrect application server given in datastore, the test connection might fail but, if the message details are correct in the datastore, the task will complete successfully.
Here is the product documentation:
https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_CLOUD_PLATFORM_INTEGRATION_FOR_DATA_SERVICES?version=1.0.11.44&locale=...

Bence

arminhaders, corrected the KBA number and its URL in my initial response.
Please, pull up this one: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2978362
Hi Armin,
I think you can proceed with Data Store Creation using the Load Balancer Server and test your connection.
Load Balancer Service Provider will take care of redirecting to the Actual Server.
