CHHU - Exception code

Hi all ;

I need to get information about usable of CHHU to change recommended HU when stock pick-up.

Stocks :

Outbound delivery is created.

When i confirm WT with RFUI , we need to change recommended HU. Is it possible ?

When i try it, i get error message such a given.

CHHU !

Hi,

I am sure the usage of CHHU is to change the destination HU.

But isn't the error message saying enough? You confirm to pick the HU 1_741 from bin 0030-01-01-02. But according the first screenshot, this HU is in bin 0030-01-01-01. So you do not have to change the HU, you have to change the source bin.

Yes, and...? You have three bins with HU. If you select the "Level of Avail. Qty" at "highest HU level" - each strategy will still determine a source bin and in this case also the HU from which to pick (this is what it says in the documentation). A "highest level HU" is not on storage type level or something like that. The system will always determine a bin.

Build yourself an exception code. I think in the standard most pick denial exception codes will try to automatically find a new bin, never tried that differently.

There seems to be some basic misunderstanding here: this is not a "recommended HU". This is the HU with the quant the system has determined based on the strategy setup for the storage type. There is always a reason needed when a picker decides to pick a different quant.

Hi Mehmet,

EWM copies the packaging material and the packaging material type from the pick handling unit into the handling unit warehouse task, and Handling unit type and its description to display it in the details for the warehouse task item. You cannot change the data.
