Hi all

The IBP chart is not showing data as per key figure value i already attached chat in excel add-in still its not showing correct data

Go into the edit mode of your IBP connection, you will find the option 😉

Are you working with the old or the new VBA-enabled templates?

With the shown screenshot, it could be both. But as the chart shows a different year, I expect it to the old charts where you use the chart feeder

And when you are still using the old ones, there can be 100 of reasons why it does not work, most likely related to settings in chart feeder and you would need to post full screen shots and the chart feeder

With the new ones, I never had issues in the amount of data displayed, so I can only recommend to change to them

Hi Abhijeet,

Check what is the horizon you have in the SAP IBP Chart Feeder in your template. Normally you face this kind of issue because of chart horizon. You can find Chart Feeder by un-hiding the sheet in the Excel Template.

Hi Abhijeet,

SAP delivered chart template restricted chart horizon to improve performance, check the chart horizon correctly if required extend the horizon for your testing purpose and compare the values.

If the above solution is not working, can you create the analytics app chart with the same selection criteria and check whether values updating properly or not.

IBP analytics app chart working fine then need to check the excel planning template.

IBP analytics app chart showing wrong values then raise incident to SAP support for further analysis.

Hi abhijeet_shirke - In your snapshot, I see the KF data for 2018 while the chart is displaying for 2016/2017. Hope you are looking at the data rightly 😉

So, is the data for 2018 not matching with that of chart still? If yes, can you please remove the selection of your chart and re-maintain the KFs you view in your chart, mostly - it works.

i cleared the metadata cache still its not working

Hi Abhijeet,

I had this issue many times.

I would suggest clearing the clear metadata cache and log in to IBP and make changes to the key figures and check the chart values in excel and analytics app.

While logging to IBP excel add-on select the connection name and click on Edit and clear metadata cache.

Check the data at base planning level first and SAP delivered chart template.
