Changing the format of signature from BMP to TIFF, when sending from SMP to SAP

While doing TECO for maintenance work orders on SMP syclo , technicians are required to sign and then they can complete WO technically. once the TECO is complete, information is sent to SAP, and we can see this signature as attachment in SAP, when we open the corresponding work order.

Now, we wanted to have this signature printed on shop papers. But, we wanted to change the BMP format signature being sent from SMP to TIFF format.

Can anyone please guide me on how to do this. or is there a way that I directly change the format of signature in SAP after the attachment is sent to SAP.

During the upload of the WO, the transaction data is received by the SMP server from the client before being sent to SAP. When the data is received in the Java layer you can certainly perform a conversion on the signature before sending to SAP. That is probably the best option.
