Hi ,

Change value is not appearing in RZ11 for Parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar, Only display mode is available.

I need to change Current value from 1 to 0 for Parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar

Hi Rajesh - do you have the proper authorizations for such a change? I recommend asking your security administrator to run an STAUTHTRACE on your user id.

Usually these changes (RZ11) are done by the Basis team or the hosting partner, if your SAP solution is hosted.

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is not dynamically switchable as you can see from this RZ11 screenshot:

You can modify parameter values in RZ11 only if they have DynamicallySwitachable = 'X'. This is hinted in the documentation for RZ11 when they explain the meaning of this setting:

Can be changed dynamically.
If this field is selected, the value of the parameter can be changed dynamically, while the system is running.

The idea of RZ11 is to change parameters without restarting the server, for this parameter you cannot use RZ11. Try RZ10 instead.

Edit: in your screenshot the same setting is named Dynamic Parameter.
