Change batch during Warehouse Task Confirmation

Hello Experts,

My storage type setting is such that '' Available Quantity Batch'' is set to 1- Batch neutral settings.

My batch determination selection criteria is defined in ECC and when Warehouse task is created in EWM, batch field is populated which is a SAP standard functionality.

But we have requirement that predefined picking of batch in WT should be changed at time of WT confirmation. There is a process to work with Exception handling code CHBA where we can change batch during WT confirmation in foreground mode with CHBA exception code

When I try to Assign exception code CHBA for Business context TPI (Confirm Warehouse Task (Stock Removal), I don't find CHBA exception code in business context TPI.

1) Batch change exception code.

2) 02: Desktop Product Warehouse Task has no Batch change code

-My question is: Can I add CHBA in TPI business context field directly?

Hello Julio,

Thanks for your reply. I have mapped the requirement. We are picking batches directly in EWM and it is asynchronously updated in ERP delivery documents. At time of WT creation, system picks the batches based on FIFO set up done. During WT confirmation, we change the batch in foreground mode and batch is updated in ERP document also.

Same query, enter CHBA and enter the different batch, is works when mat and batch are in different qr code, in our client it's one qr code, is there any option to develop screen in one go to change the batch

Hi Shailesh,

If you have a batch in the outbound delivery order item, you will not be able to pick a different batch, even with exception code CHBA.

CHBA will only work to overwrite the batch determination that occurred during WT creation in EWM.
