In attempting to TECO a WO, ERROR MSG ZQM123 appears requesting to enter a CAUSE CODE GROUP.

What is this CODE and where does it get entered?

First of all, you will get a better response if you tag your posts with: PLM Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/Plant Maintenance (PM).

It looks like message ZQM123 is a customer-specific message and is probably generated in a user-exit or BADI.

Check user-exit QQMA0014 (notification save event) via transaction SMOD.
