Carve Out Company Code approach for SAP APO

Hello,

In case we have to do a carve out for APO, ECC together. What should be the best approach for APO ?

To reconcile with the carved out ECC data

To Copy full APO from existing & delete un required data.

What would be the best idea to retain configuration and other building block as well as custom programs ?

I know you have posted long time back ,did you attempted SLO on SAP APO or used other process to purge the data.

Can anybody share their experience on the topic? What is the better way to move APO data to a local system: to carve out and copy it from a global one or to use initial load from SAP ERP?

Hi Rahul, we have some thing similar, Could you share your experience?
We are planning to have a system copy (of both ECC and APO) and then cleanse unwanted data - but I am concerned about sync issues between existing orders (in carve out).

Will order processing (for existing orders) go without any issues to other system? Will new orders created in ECC be able to use existing PDS and other source of supplies in APO?
