Capacity demand of production resource KF is not getting populated in SAP IBP

Hi,

I am working on IBP heuristic. The key figure - Capacity demand of production resource is not getting populated even though required data like Net demand and consumption rate (PCAPACONSUMPTION) is available in the system. Ideally Capacity demand of production resource should have been calculated as multiple of consumption rate and net demand.

is there anything i am missing?

Hi,

Please check if you have marked "X" in Capacity Consumption Rate Time Series Indicator attribute in the Production Source Resource MDT. If yes, remove it and re-run heuristic.

Hi Roberto,

Please check if you have mixed dynamic capacity settings with fixed capacity setting. In my case, it was set on both so was not working.

I can't see an option to provide X in Capacity Consumption Rate Time Series Indicator. But there is one while uploading master data. I have not included value X here. It is still not working.

I reckon is an old post. I have a similar problem I was wondering if you resolved it and share what you did.

Up to this week I've been using the Consumption Rate as Time Series without any problem. For a reason that I cant understand is not working. I followed Piyush advice and instead of using it dynamic (Time Series) I removed the X indicator and set a value in CAPACONSUMPTION and now it works. On the other hand in TEST the system is working as Time Series with the X indicator set in Master Data
