Cancellation of GR in embedded EWM while Inspection lot summarization is activated.

Hello community, 

Business needs to activate Inspection lot summarization in material master data in Quality tab. 

On EWM side we would have a problem to cancel GR in case inbound delivery has a link to already existing inspection lot. System will show message: HU content was changed - GR cancellation not possible, /SCWM/GM069. 

Solution provided in note https://me.sap.com/notes/3298538/E does not work, solution provided in https://me.sap.com/notes/3052659 is not acceptable by Logistic business. 

Does anyone has better solution/workaround in such a case?

Did you try Return to Vendor on the inbound Delivery? This may need you to maintain your RFC users used in ECC and EWM setup as Dialog users.
