Cancel put way

Dear experts,

I want to cancel the put away task in the EWM, for which Goods Receipt is already Confirmed. Does anyone know the procedure to cancel the Put away Task? Or I just want to delete the inbound delivery in EWM.

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not possible. Confirmed warehouse putaway task can't be cancelled. It is possible only for task for outbound delivery (by t-code /SCWM/CANCPICK) but not possible for putaway if the task is already confirmed.

Goods receipt is only possible with the retrun to vendor process which is described here:

In our plant we are doing it by movement 102 pushed from ERP system (but for cancellation goods receipt for finished product from production). This movement creates outbound delivery in ERP which is distributed to EWM. After that we we can pick the finished product in reference to the EWM outbound document. But it works only for GR from production.

Hello,

Since putaway status is completed, you cannot do anything more. Do not delete anything.

To reset putaway status, you need to conduct vendor return process in PRDI. Thats the only away.

Ensure it is configured in your system
