Hello,
Can we use the same segmentation measure(for example: Actuals quantity adjusted) for both ABC and XYZ segmentation while defining the rules?
Mathematically it may not be possible to take same parameter on both X-axis and Y-axis. But in SAP IBP it is technically not throwing any error even if consider the same segmentation measure for both ABC and XYZ segmentation.
Are the results of this scenario are accurate ?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Sai Prakash,
According to my understanding, ABC/XYZ Segmentation is nothing but Prioritizing objects based on importance Vs Classifying objects based on demand. Calculation of ABC Segmentation varies from the calculation of XYZ Segmentation.
So, In that case, You can have the same segmentation measures for both ABC/XYZ Segmentation.

Hi Sai Parkash,
when you run ABC XYZ operator, it is not the measure which appears on X Axis and Y axis but the values of ABC and XYZ measures.
You should have the same measure taken for both ABC and XYZ segmentation measures and not both of them.
