Can we configure IBP Inventory Optimization in monthly bucket?

Hello Experts,

We generally configure IBP Inventory KFs in weekly buckets (also Technical weeks). But is there an issue if we configure all IBP IO KFs in Monthly buckets? Is there any limitation of choosing different time levels?

Hi,

IBP Inventory Optimization can be executed only in a week and technical week buckets.

If you want to IO to be executed in the Month buckets then copy IO planning area and create a new planning area and adjust all key figures to month and check the same. You might get planning area activation errors.

I would suggest to raise an incident to the SAP support team first and then parallelly configure the scenario.
