can vehicle resources be restricted in Capacity selection settings in a planning profile in SAP TM

Hi Experts,

can you please help me with the below issue .

We are having the pgm /SCMTMS/PLN_OPT for Freight order (FO) creation in batch mode. once the job runs, FOs are created with wrong Means of transport . ( like FOs are created for PALLET instead of PARCEL)

We are having a FO selection profile inside the planning profile. The capacity selection settings of Planning profile Is having means of transport as PARCEL only ( road) .

on analysis, seems our selection profile assigned to the PPL is picking all FOs with different vehicle resources also.

in this case, can we restrict vehicle resources from capacity selection settings in our planning profile? so that optimizer will pick only one vehicle resource. Please let me know if any details are required on this .It would be of great help if we get any information on this.

You can use Incompatibility Settings to prevent FUs from being assigned to the wrong means of transport.

You may also want to check that Automatic Connection Determination is turned off in your optimizer settings, to prevent the additional FOs from being selected.
