Can IBP make a segment of product in DC or inventory depending on "shelf life"?

Hi expert,

Now my consultant team is working on PoC for our client.

One of the things our client wants to know is whether IBP can categorize products by remaining shelf life. Can it be realized by IBP system? As long as I checked SAP help portal referring to IBP, I could not find any related links. If there is, can you please let me know that in order to figure it out more deeply. Thanks.

<Example>

Let's assume there is one distribution centre that storages two products; product A and product B. I know that IBP system can let me know the quantities of each products respectively. But, what I am wondering now is if IBP can break down product B into several groups and let me know the quantities respectively as shown below;

group A(remaining shelf life is 1 week): 40 items

group B(remaining shelf life is 2 week): 30 items

group C(remaining shelf life is 3 week): 30 items

Hi Kenta,

You can have the Stock on Hand quantity for the particular Location Product Combination.with different remaining shelf life value at DC.
