Calculated KF is not working

Hi All,

I am facing following strange issue:

While testing IBP_RAGGR function with following calculation

IBP_RAGGR("SHIPPEDQTY@DAYPRODLOCCUST", ''SUM'', -1, 3, ''PASTCURRENTFUTURE'')

It didn't work.....

Changed in different ways to make it work, I have not succeeded and then I tested whether any other calculations are working or not with following statements:

Test1 : IF(ISNULL("KF2"),"KF1","KF2")

Test2: KF2 = KF1 * 5

All my test cases are failed. Following key figures are created

KF1 - Stored

KF2 - Stored and calculated

Please help me out.....

"Failed" is not very specific, plus you did not provide any Excel Example, so don't expect miracles here without that

However, your TEST2 figure in that example can only be NULL if TEST1 is NULL as well, and in that case your formula is simply wrong

It is a general rule that if an entry simply does not exist, the whole entry will be skipped, so that is why you need the ISNULL check.

Plus, none of the IBP_xxx operators can deal with NULL entries very well, so make it a general rule that you ensure that in case of potential NULL you replace that with 0

So, make it

IBP_RAGGR("HSHIPPEDQTY@DAYPRODLOCCUST", ''SUM'', -1, 3, ''PASTCURRENTFUTURE'')

and

HSHIPPEDQTY@DAYPRODLOCCUST = IF( ISNULL(HSHIPPEDQTY@DAYPRODLOCCUST) , 0 , HSHIPPEDQTY@DAYPRODLOCCUST)

However, as I don't know what your problem is, I cannot know if this will help
