BOP Qty partially delivered

We have recently had cases where because of a subsequent quantity adjustment by Pick Denial or quantity correction by BOP only a partial quantity was delivered,The order quantity is set to the open remaining quantity. This blocks the formation of a new sub-item with the quantity that is still open.

What is the reason?

Hi Harsh,

For Backorders, creation of sub items is very much possible even on a partially delivered line item. All you need is couple of pilot notes that SAP developed to tackle this issue. I assume it will be part of future release. Please raise a message to SAP to get those notes.

Apart from the new notes that SAP developed which could fix the issue, I don't know of any other process that could cause that issue. I think you should raise this to SAP to clarify yourselves.
