Bin Template

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to create the bins in my warehouse where all the samples will be diverted for further testing.

Template: is my template is OK?

Structure: What kind of structure should be there, please? ( I tried few combinations but failed)

Increment: Not sure what should be there?

I want to achieve

QUAL-01 QUAL-02 QUAL-03 QUAL-04 QUAL-05

Hello abap.kid

Your settings are OK. You just need to put <space><space><space><space><space>AA (that's 5 spaces and AA) into the structure field and <space><space><space><space><space><space>1 (that's 6 spaces and 1) in the increment field.

Check out the documentation for the fields. It'll explain how it works.

Because you changed the Template. The "A"s at the beginning are wrong. You don't want "QUAL" to change, so it must be "C" (for constant).

juergen.pitz is right, you should've changed the "template" field. As I've said in my answer - your settings were right save for "structure" and "increment" fields.BRDominik Tylczynski

Yes I do agree while trying different ways to achieve results probably I made that mistake and maintain the Bin Prefix as "QUAL" I need to keep it as CCCCC and I did it and so achieved my goal.

Once again I appreciate your kind help including Juergen and I have already accepted Dominik's proposal.
