Normally we are performing manual postings in local currencies (since we have foreign subsidiaries) and then make a translation into group currency (USD). However the consultants are telling us thay they should remove the tics (manual postings->document type->properties->key figüre) in order to enter into Ucmon monitor properly. If we will do that, manual postings would not be translated into group currency which would be a problem for us. If we do not do this, we would not able to enter into ucmon.
According to their statements, since the currency translation step ,s before the manual posting step in a normal process (which is weird) , translations of the manual postings creates inconsistencies on the system. Is it possible?
the other issue is the translation of goodwill. Normally, goodwill is defined under "Data Entry for COI" step in UCWB. And once the COI (consolidation) is executed, additional financial data is automatically updated and goodwill is translated into group currency with the related fx rates each month. However, after the version upgrade, we could not be able to translate the goodwill. What may be the reasons for this issue?
