BCM workflow

Dear Experts,

I am configuring SAP BCM Workflow for vendor payments. We have 1 level reviewer/verifier and 2 levels approval (L1 approvers and L2 approvers). We have defined 4 Rule ID:

SET1 - upto 1 million

SET2 - 1 million to 10 millions

SET3 - 10 millions to 50 millions

SET4 - 50 millions and above

Reviewer/Verifier will be approving in the 'Change and Release' tab of  'BNK_APP' and the L1 and L2 approver will be approving in the 'Additional Release' tab of 'BNK_APP'. In the 'Assign roles to Additional Release step' of IMG config for each Responsibilities I have assigned 4 user.

My question is, will the workflow get triggered for all the 4 Users. I believe the work flow should get triggered to all the users defined and any one can approve the payments. But for me only for the first user the Workflow is getting triggered for L1 and L2 approver. If only for one user the Workflow gets triggered then what is the use of assigning more than 1 agents in the responsibility.  

Also can the Reviewer/Verifier can select the next user for L1 and L2 approvers from the list of 4 users at the time of his/her approval in bnk_app. Please Advice.

Hi Binoy,

The workflow will get triggered for all assigned users. (assigned to Rule)

Define the rules for BNK_COM for 1,2 release steps and within the rules define the condition for each responsibility (like rule id , paying co.code etc..)

Check the individual users validity period and also verify where all the users authorization roles etc. are same.

Hi Ravish,

The work flow is getting triggered perfectly for 1 level of reviewer and for 2 level of approver. But now the client wants 2 level of reviewer and 2 level approver. Is it possible. I can see in the config that we can have upto 3 level of reviewer and 3 level of approver. But not sure why the WF is not triggering for 2 level of reviewer.

In tcode 'bnk_bnk_ini_rel01' I have defined the release procedure as '2'. and also configured 2 step release in 'Assign roles to Change and release tab'. please advice.

  You need to check the 'release procedure to release object settings as well'

Dear Pallavi,

Thanks for the support, I believe we can have only 1 reviewer level and 3 approver level maximum. Just wanted to know whether we can have 2 level of reviewer.

Hi Pallavi,

i know that they are there, but conditions are not encouraged by SAP. they recommend using 'always' option for BNK_COM.
