BC sets activation /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_PACK fails

Hello Experts,

Unable to do activation of BC sets /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_PACK (Automatic generation of packaging items for goods issue). Getting below error.

While checking entry in table /SCDL/TDTYE, there is not entry available for OUTS document type.

Could you please assist how to get this BC sets activated? Else i have to configure from scratch for Automatic generation of packaging material for goods issue.

That is what the transaction SCPR3 (Display and Maintain BC Sets) and the (but probably not always existing) BC Set documentation is for. This one here says "

Prerequisites

The cross-process settings contained in the BC Sets /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_PROF, /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_SIMPLE_PROF, and /SCWM/DLV_TEXT must exist."

Hello Shailesh,

This error message is for the IMG activity 'Allowed Item Types...'. You can ignore hte error when you do not use the document type OUTS. Instead create the entry for whatever document type you want to allow the use of item type OPHU with.

Hi,

I guess the simple way would be to execute the BC-Set which creates the outbound delivery type OUTS first. That seems to be /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_SIMPLE_TYPE. But maybe this has other requirements, too.

Thanks for the reply. The BC sets /SCWM/DLV_OUTBOUND_SIMPLE_TYPE has dependency on other BC sets as well.

On activation, new error comes.

Any idea which BC has dependency now?
