Basis alternative to CFG3

Dear community,

out of curiosity - these days i needed to do an SLG1 search, and it struck me that in SLG1 selection is done only on log object/subobject class, and there are no selection options to restrict by a certain message class/number.

This is possible in transaction CFG3, however CFG3 theoretically is available only on SCM/APO systems, one could expect such a feature though in the generic SLG1 functionality. (As i am working with such one, i have access to CFG3 and it is just fine ).

Is there out there a BASIS transaction, similar to SLG1 that covers that? And is then available in all kinds of systems, not only SCM.

Hello,

Transaction CFG3 or CLG1 is available in ECC system for CIF application log.

In the SCM APO you can use transaction /n/sapapo/c3

However SLG1 is common transaction for all application log which is available in all systems.
