Hello,
I set up Basic TM shipping process and faced the problem:
When planning FO from FU(stages) interface only default FO type is created, however specific stage type used and another default capacity document type assigned in customizing (TM->FWO management->FWO->Define default capacity documents types for stages).
There is possible to define only FWM documents types in the mentioned customizing, but not FU document type.
When planning from FU worklist the problem does not appear and the propper FO type is created successfuly.
Thanks for an advice how to fix also in FU app.
Regards, Petr

Hi Petr,
here is what you can do, at least if not any of this is excluded from basic shipping. You can assign a planning profile to your freight unit type. Within that planning profile you can set the document determination logic to condition based. Create a condition that uses a data crawler, that goes from Freight Order Root(this is where the condition originates from) to the requirement stages. This can be done via association REQ_TOR_SUCC. Now you have access to the stage information of your freight unit(exactly the stage that is assigned to the capacity) and the field stage_type. Now in the Decission table you can maintain the mapping between Freight Order Type and Stage Type.

Emanuel

Hello Petr,
Forwarding Orders (FWOs) are capacity documents that are used in LSPs scenarios to represent the requirement from a customer to provide transportation services. As such this isn't relevant for a Shipper scenario and it isn't even part of the basic scope of SAP Transportation Management (you require an Advanced Transportation Management license to use it). For the basic scope of SAP TM you can only generate Freight Units out of Deliveries.
To know more about the differences between the basic vs advanced scope of SAP TM please look into the following KBA 3056768 - Basic Shipping and Advanced Transportation Management.

Hello Roberto,
However my setup is (I believe - could not be easier) according to the blog post you have linked me on, I receive only default FO type (default at all - not default for the stage type).
Some screenshots here (I was not able to attach to the comment)
Do you have any idea what is behind?
Thank you, Petr
