BAPI to upload forecast with characteristics

Hello Experts,

Looking for BAPI to upload the forecast with characteristics. Idea is to load the forecast using flat file in APO BW cube and release from cube to SNP, since we are not using APO DP but for demand planning we have third party system.

Hi Azam,

please check BAPI_PIRSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI for creation of forecast objects in LC.

This one should also be capable of dealing with characteristics. In worst case you can use the interface /SAPAPO/IF_EX_DM_PIR to enrich the PIRs being created through the BAPI.

I not sure if really require BAPI.

You should create flat file with details and upload into APO BW cube.

Please find below the link which will provide you to upload he data into APO BW PSA from where you can load the data into APO BW cube.

Once you have data into APO BW , you can release the data from APO BW cube to SNP. I would request you to check or get help from BW/BI consultant for this actvity.

Hi Amol,

This method is more for normal flat file upload but  I am looking for specific requirement, in which I wanted to upload the forecast with characteristics (and I am not using CBF of DP), further I waned to run CTM in SNP with characteristics. So my forecast(with characteristics) is coming from legacy system (non SAP).
