The stock removal rule "FEFO" comprised 3 sort field, that's "CHARG - Batch", "VFDAT - Shelf Life Expiration Date", "WDATU - Date and Time of Goods Receipt" in sequence. The length of batch NO. is 10 digits (This is the SAP standard setting and cannot be changed). The first digit is the last digit of the year on which it was produced, and the 2 to 4 digits are the days of the year converted from production date. Eg. if the production date is 20190303, the first digit of batch NO. is "9", and the 2 to 4 digits are "062".
According to the setting of the stock removal rule, the system will implement FEFO according to the sorting of batch number during the delivery. But there is a problem when the production year is 2020, the first digit became 0, and this will cause the batches that are received later to issue earlier than the batches that are received first.
Due to the above impact,I want to implement a enhancement to solve thi problem, but I can't find which BADI can change the sort field of stock removal rule ( BADI - /SCWM/EX_CORE_RMS_STRATEGY can only change the Removal Rule NO.). Or is there an other way to sort the stock batch by inventory production date when issue ?
