Backward Scheduling not considering the selected week while doing capacity leveling in SAP APO

Hello All,

We are facing issue while doing backward scheduling in SNP Capacity Leveling.

There is surplus hours available in W33 and there is shortage of hours in W34 so I select W33 and W34 and do the capacity leveling with backward scheduling.

System changes the hour for W32/W33 instead of W33/W34 which should noty happen.

It is working as expected when I choose Forward Scheduling.

Please help. Is there any setting issue ?

Hello,

Please check if you have any holiday and no capacity on particular date of the week.

Also check if this SAP note valid for your release,

1974662 - Capacity leveling moves overload by one bucket only

Thanks Brahmankar for your response.

This is happening for any 2 weeks I select - whether I select W33/W34 or W59/W60.

Also I noticed that this is happening only for one resource so not able to understand what settings might be causing this issue?

I checked by changing the calendar but issue still persists.

The note 1974662 - you referred is talking about other issue though it can be applied.

Hello,

What do you mean by week W59/W60.? There are only 52 /53 weeks in a year.

So please check working/holidays in the factory calendar

Also cross check available capacity in that week and order lot size.
