Backflush S4 Embedded

Hi Expert,

I'd referred the below blog on 'Synchronous GR & backflush'.

But we can not use this as we want to generate Inspection Lot for finished product after final confirmation. Please let me know if it is possible to create IBD & OBD to receive finished product & to consume the component. (Note we're use advance production integration PMR).

As there is no option of EGR to receive finished product in Embedded EWM so may be not possible to trigger the backflush from EWM.

Hello,

First of all- PMR based integration is mainly for the staging of components. It does not control you to have specific ways for confirmation of FG and consumption of components. If you working with MES then PMR will play some more special roles.

You can always have IBD for FG confirmation and OBD for backflush of the components. in S4 2020, SAP provided option of synchronous GR and GI to simplify the process for simple operations. If you need to have complex Inbound processing then you can switch to IBD creation. Also, if you need OBD for components consumption, then this is also possible.

All you can setup in production scheduling profile that is later assigned to your FG/SFG.

check above options. If you set never then system will create IBD and OBD.

if you set 1 then system will create only OBD , GR will be posted w/o IBD.

If you set 2 then system will create only IBD, GI will be posted w/o OBD

If you set 3 then GR and GI both will be posted w/o delivery.

see below IBD and OBD created in S4 HANA 2020.
