Avoid Sales Order date violation in PPDS Optimizer

Experts,

When we run PPDS Optimizer, based on the set up times provided, there is a possibility for the Sales Order requested delivery dates to be violated. SAP's way to avoid this violation is by providing Delay costs.

Question: If I am not using Cost based optimization at all, is there a way to provide the Sales Order requirement dates as a HARD CONSTRAINT to the PPDS Optimizer engine?
