Automatic plant to plant posting for goods movements between storage types

Hello all,

I have already found similar questions but until now I didn“t find a solution.

We have two plants within one warehouse number 710.

Plant 1000 - Storage Location 1001 - Availability group Z01 - Stock type F1 (Unrestricted-Use Warehouse)

Plant 2000 - Storage Location 2001 - Availability group Z02 - Stock type F2 (Unrestricted-Use Warehouse)

There is one storage type for each plant:

Storage type E1 - Availibility group Z01 (mandatory)

Storage type L2 - Availibility group Z02 (mandatory)

Now we want to move stock from storage type E1 to storage type L2. The stock has stock type F1 in storage type E1 and should be automatically changed to stock type F2 when we move it to storage type L2.

Is it possible to do this in standard? Currently we get the following error message: Could not determine ERP stock data for: 710 1000 F2 (/SCWM/ERPINTEGRATION105)

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Julian

Hi Julian, I never did it, but I guess system cannot understand that Entitled and Owner should be changed as well.

Try to execute this movement with tcode /scwm/post using destination information (stock type, entitled/owner)

If it works, you can theoretically do it this way or with BAdi.

Daniil

Hello julian.wiesmann,

Please check the settings in SPRO -->EWM-->Interfaces-->ERP Integration-->Goods Movements-->Map Storage Locations from ERP System to EWM, the combination retrieved in your message should exist in this customizing. It also would be worth to check that your Entitled is correct and you have sufficient authorization (SU53).

Andrey

Hello Andrey,

thanks for your feedback.

There are two entries in SPRO-->EWM-->Interfaces-->ERP Integration-->Goods Movements-->Map Storage Locations from ERP System to EWM.

  • Plant 1000 - Storage Location 1001 - Availability group Z01
  • Plant 2000 - Storage Location 2001 - Availability group Z02

Two stock types are defined in SPRO-->EWM -->Master Data-->Product-->Define Stock Types

  • Stock type F1 (Unrestricted-Use Warehouse) is assigned to availability group Z01 (plant 1000)
  • Stock type F2 (Unrestricted-Use Warehouse) is assigned to availability group Z02 (plant 2000).

When I try to move stock from storage type E1 (stock type F1 - Entitled 1000) to storage type L2 I get the error message: Could not determine ERP stock data for Plant / Entitled 1000 - Stock Type F2.

EWM tries to change the stock type from F1 to F2. This is correct.

But stock type F2 is not assigned to Entitled 1000, but to Entitled 2000. So I expected that EWM also tries to change the Entitled from 1000 to 2000.

Do I need to change any other settings or is it not possible to also change the Entitled automatically?

Best regards,

Julian

Hi julian.wiesmann,

And do not you enter the entitled as well in /scwm/post while doing your posting? Could you please try it if not yet been checked?

Andrey

I am not completely sure that cross-plant posting should work this way. This error message seems familiar, EWM is usually trying to determine the plant from the BP that is the "party entitled to dispose" of the stock. However in this case this BP doesn't change so I don't know how EWM should be able to tell that we are looking for this F2 stock type in plant 2000 and not 1000. What do you see as KUNNR and LIFNR for these two plants in table T001W?
