Automatic offsetting between planned/process orders in APO

Hi All,

There is a business requirement to offset the planned orders generated by heuristic automatically(3 hours between). The orders will be using PDS quota (2 PDS) and accordingly they need to be created in a manner that there is this offset between them during bulk preparation phase. After this packing takes place on a single line which is a bottleneck resource.

Any idea how this can be achieved in standard?

Your question is too confusing. Could you please explain better, if possible with some diagram as to what is the requirement and what you want to acheive.

Hi Sasi,

there are two PDS available for a bulk product 'A' - PDS1 and PDS2 . Quota is assigned equally to both the PDS (50/50).

Now the system should generate orders in such a manner that - order1(using PDS1) starts at 00:00 and runs till 10:00 (10hrs) , and order2(using PDS2) should start at 01:00 PM (3hrs offset with the first order). This we want to achieve automatically rather than going to DS board and scheduling manually.

Any ideas how we can do this?
