Automatic GI (IM) with GR (EWM) to process order

Hi experts,

EWM 9.5 decentralized, ERP 6.0, manufacturing integration via EGR and inbound deliveries.

Business request: with every GR (there are partial GRs for every manufacturing), an automatic GI (consumption) of component should happen in the background. Components are not EWM managed, only finished goods.

Any idea if it is possible in standard? I know the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_* family, but we are trying to avoid any development.

Hi Shailesh,

We are speaking of several thousands of partial GR per hour (one GR per HU), each of them being registered automatically with an inbound delivery, a SSCC number and an inspection document via an interface with the manufacturing equipment. To replace that logic by COR6N is out of discussion.

Currently we do use COR6 for consumption and order confirmation at the end of the production (for GI, but not for GR), but the business is interested in an approach closer to real time for GI (GR is solved).

As I have specifically mentioned bapi to post consumption of back flush items. Bapi goods_movement_create, the universal bapi for consumption can be used.

Thank you for your answer. However, what we request is not to use COR6. The GR will happen when the inbound delivery is confirmed, and we want to have at this moment, in the background, the corresponding GI, without any manual action.

COR6N will be very easy for you. GI and GR will happen simultaneously and latter you can putaway the IBD.

Else use standard bapi for consumption of bom items

This is possible in standard.

For Auto GI:Mark your bom components as backlfush items. While confirming process order through COR6N, GI will happen automatically

For Auto GR: Use control keys of routing to post auto GR.
