Automatic Generation of Packaging Items for Goods Issue EWM

Hi,

I have done all issues included in material "Automatic Generation of Packaging Items for Goods Issue EWM" (https://help.sap.com/saphelp_ewm93/helpdata/en/37/9b1052bfd79933e10000000a44538d/frameset.htm)

But there is problem in transfer packing material from EWM to ERP. In EWM packing material is generated, I post goods issue and everything works fine but then when I enter VL03N I can see only product without packing material.

The thing is I would like to generate packaging items for goods issue in EWM, post goods issue and and be able to see the list of packing materials in VL03N.

When I enter qRFC Monitor there is problem:

EWM has completed processing of distributed delivery

Message no. /SPE/VL019"

Hi Konrad,

Thanks this change worked and can understand why it worked in 1610 system now as this functionality was not available. However I don't think this is a long term solution and maybe why the note is being updated as you lose all the functionality of being able to change deliveries after distribution.

I did hit another issue with the delivery incompletion log VU013 error which I can see that L0 has an addition entry in 1709 over 1610 for LIPS-SGT_RCAT. Not sure what this is for yet but DLN was the only item category using this so I copied and deleted that entry and it worked okay.

The details in this note were that you go to:

Integration with Other SAP Components -> Extended Warehouse Management -> Basic Settings for EWM Linkage -> Configure SAP EWM-Specific Parameters

and unmark checkbox "Deliv. Chg".

Hi Konrad,

I notice you said that note 2667641 resolved this issue. I searched that note but it appears its currently being updated.

I have exactly the same issue you reported. It worked in an older S4HANA 1610 sandbox system but when I have moved to S4HANA 1709 system it is now failing.

Have you got the details of the note when you applied ?

Issue solved. SAP note 2667641 helped.
