Automatic closing of HU after Deconsolidation/Packing?

2,828

Hi experts,

Is there a setting in the system to automatically close HU after deconsolidation/packing is complete via RF?

So there will be no need to go in HU maintenance and close HU.

If there is no setting can this functionality be developed ?

Hi Norbert,

I assume you want to avoid switching the RF menu!?

So you might just want to add a button on your Z RF and call method /SCWM/CL_WM_PACKING-HU_PROCESS_COMPLETED in your PAI (you can compare with FM /SCWM/RF_PACK_HU_CLOSE_PAI which is used by EWM standard).

Hello,

I have maintained the config for "Define Attributes for Deconsolidation" as follows: MaxP = 1 and MaxD = 1.

Result: when I choose the RF transaction "Deconsolidate Automatically" then after scanning the product and HU I get a screen asking whether to close HU. When I choose Yes (F1) it closes the HU.

Hi,

AFAIK there is no standard setting. The reason for it is simple: when is the packing complete??? When you close the HU, that's it. Would anything else make sense? Eventually, but for sure not in all cases.
