Hope your are doing good,
I have a question regarding the Batch Determination process in SAP. We have configured Automatic Batch Determination using the FIFO method at the delivery level. When we create a delivery, the batch is assigned correctly using the FIFO method, which is great. However, we noticed that there is no batch split happening, does that single batch will be appear in second line only with cb99 ? as mentioned below , why is it not fetching in first line itself.
Could anyone please guide me on why this might be happening and how we can resolve it to ensure that batch split occurs as needed?
Thank you,
Best regards,
Pradeep K
Hello @Pradeepdk
That is how batch determination works in deliveries - it will always create batch split lines, i.e. items number starting with 9, even if only one batch is determined. It has been working like that since forever. It is explained in the note 2444669 - Batch subitem is created during batch split even if only one batch is determined for the d...
What is the problem with that?

Hello @Pradeepdk
Thank you for the explanation. As you said it is just a matter of convenience in occasional cases. I would suggest to accept the standard functionality.
