Hi,
I have a scenario where we create FUs from OBD. There is a split based on weight and then more than one FUs are created. We assign Railcar Unit to each of them but then we want to consolidate all of them (coming from same OBD) to one Freight Order Rail. Is there any standard way to do that?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Melinda,
I'm not very familiar with optimizer yet. I wonder if this is really possible to do just simple auto-consolidation of many FUs. The scenario we have looks like below:
OBD -> FU Split -> Railcar assigned to every single FU -> FUs (with same OBD) are consolidated to one FOR (this part we are missing).

Hello,
From the Freight Order point of view there's no restriction to plan the RUs into 1 single FO. If there's no incompatibility, or different delivery group, you have many options to do the consolidation via manual planning or optimizer planning.
Best regards,
Melinda
