ATP is not working when MRP area is deactivated

Hi All,

ATP is not working in sales order when the MRP area is deactivated, which was active in the system previously.

Kindly let me know if any solution for the ATP to work without MRP area.

As per SAP Help page Implementing MRP Areas:

On top of that, MRP areas are always on S/4HANA.

So if you really have a situation as you said:

the MRP area is deactivated, which was active in the system previously

It means that the system was somehow forced to deactivate MRP areas. That might have caused data inconsistency that you experience as ATP not working.

I don't see any other explanation as whether ATP works or not really doesn't depend on MRP areas being active or not.
