Greetings experts,
We are implementing rules-based ATP for location substitution with consolidation and are having some issues with the standard functionality. Consider the following scenario...
Rules-based ATP is configured for location substitution with consolidation in plant A.
100 units of material XYZ in plant A
100 units of material XYZ in plant B
We create a sales order for 150 units against plant A. The system creates the following lines on the sales order...
Line 10 - TAPA line for 150 units from plant A (this represents the original order quantity)
Line 12 - TAN line for 100 units from plant A
Line 14 - TAN line for 50 units from plant A (consolidation will create a purchase requisition to move 50 units from B to A)
This causes a problem with our follow-on documents. For example, the resulting delivery, bill of lading, order acknowledgement, order confirmation, invoice, etc will all include lines 12 and 14. But there is no real difference between lines 12 and 14; they were created only because of the location substitution.
We would rather have the system create a single TAN line with multiple schedule lines to represent the different delivery dates. Has anyone had any experience with location substitution and consolidation? Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
Regards,
David.

Hi David,
This is the side effect of sub items, you need to do development for confirmed quantity (resulting from two sub items into one) in bill of lading, order acknowledgment, order confirmation etc. but you delivery and invoice document should not be affected.
Sub items either due to location substitution or product substitution cause problem in acknowledgment, EDI , pricing etc. and it is not specific to consolidation location.
Thanks,

New Feature with SCM7: No TAPA TAN (No sub items in a sales order with Rules based ATP Location or production substitution)
Rules will be triggered with APO availability check but with required config, no subitems will be created.
Note-> This is applicable in case of full delivery only. In case of partials requirements can be left at the primary plant.
PIC1 for Rules based ATP check
Pic2 : Plant is changed automatically (similar to forced inline substitution of AATP).
No subitems after rules based ATP would provide relief to the companies having their ERP system interfaced to many sub systems.
What is needed:
This Customizing activity, you can activate the Business Add-In implementation Enhancement of RBA Customizing (/SAPAPO/SIMPLIFY_CUSTOMIZING).

Hi gurus: We have a probelm with TAPA/TAN orders confirming the product. The TAPA line may "confirm " the entire amount requested , but Core Ball the TAN ...We are implementing rules-based ATP for location substitution with consolidation and are having some issues with the standard functionality. ATP production and mitochondrial membrane potential were mea- sured to study mitochondrial function. ATP production was found decreased by 38% at 1 h and 19 ...“Your skin is so nice.” “I envy your natural glow.” And other things my white friends say during summer.
