Hello all ,
Scenario is like this , i have plant with different MRP storage locations areas , stock now separated with different MRP areas , the issue is when i try to run ATP in sales order if i mention the storage location the system will look only to the stock in related to MRP area for this storge location and if i didn't mention the storge location in sales order the system will look to the stock in the plant excluding all MRP areas
is the there is way to run ATP in sales order in plant level with all the stocks in all MRP areas as well , or a way to run ATP with group of MRP areas in the same time ?
Thanks,

Hi @Nansy_Matary ,
the MRP areas are exactly to do a separation of stock/supply/demand elements, putting them 'together' is not a goal of the MRP area.
However, you can use the Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC) capability to check ATP in multiple storage locations during sales order processing and come up with a confirmation that consists of one or multiple storage locations. An example: Example: Substitute Storage Location Determination

Hello,
I suppose you have activated SBC by mistake. Please deactivate the SBC flag for the checking group:
SPRO
Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP)
Configuration Activities for Enhanced Check Methods
-> Configure Enhanced Check Methods by Document Purpose
and check again.
--------------
If ABC is not being executed somehow -> please review the checklist of question 1 of KBA 2776851 FAQ: Alternative based Confirmation (ABC) with aATP.
Hope this helps.
best regards,
Michael
Hi Nansy_Matary,
from the error message it seems that somehow SBC is being active. Its either a bug (in that case we need to investigate the issue via SAP support case - please create a new case if required) or perhaps one of your substituted products has SBC active. Verify the possible substitution material/plant combinations and verify the assigned checking groups for SBC activation.
best regards,
Michael

Hello @Nansy_Matary
That is how ATP with MRP areas work - see the note 3512644 - ATP Check with MRP Areas and Storage Locations for details. I don't think you can customize that or have ATP across a group of MRP areas.
