Hi All,

We started with EWM configuration in S41909. We defined Define Own Business System, Define Business System, then now when I am trying to configure "Assign Warehouse Numbers from Logistics Execution" BUSINESS SYSTEM field is greyed out. Till 1809 this is active, in 1909 sap made it display only. I am not sure how I can assign my business system to ERP and EWM warehouses. This list is blank hence even though we go to new entries it shows only ERP and EWM warehouses active, business system is greyed out.

Kindly help me, how I can choose the business system to assign the values here.

Assign Warehouse Numbers from Logistics Execution

Thanks,

Hari.

Hi,

see SAP Note 2882794 - No business system possible for warehouse number assignment.

Want to learn EWM?
Check for EWM courses @ https://training.sap.com/trainingpath/Applications-Logistics+Execution+%26+Warehouse+Management-SAP+...

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Thank You Juergen for sharing the note. It says that....

For EWM S4HANA decentralized it was not possible to edit the business system when adding a new entry in view /SCWM/TMAPWHNUM. This note is only relevant when connecting multiple ERPs on the EWM system.

My scenario is, we are doing greenfield implementation to client with S4-1909 version. Do you think this note works for us? Kindly advise.

Hari.

"My scenario is, we are doing greenfield implementation to client with S4-1909 version."

What does that have to do with your problem?

You mean the "This note is only relevant when connecting multiple ERPs on the EWM system"? Well, technically, if you only have a one to one connection, or if you are using embedded EWM, you don't need to enter a Business System in there. It is only relevant if you have a N:1 (multiple ERP to one EWM) setup and might have overlap of warehouse numbers.
