Asset Central: Equipment Status Transfer

Hi,

I want to snyc the status of equipment between Asset Central and EAM. Unfortunately, there are 2 descriptions?! -> I am confused.

-> using SM30 and view AIN_V_VALUE_MAP

Which one is right?

Hi Simon,

What you see in Syclo is a pre-delivered configuration that normally works for the majority of the customers. You need to map the asset central value with the EAM internal code of the equipment status.

thanks for your reply. But why is the view AIN_V_VALUE_MAP mentioned then in the S/4 HANA Config Guide?
What do you mean by "majority" -> when are the prerequisites that Syclo works and when does it not work?
